Hi baby girl…
Upon entering Alli’s home, I was greeted by the sound of a newborn cry. What a sweet and beautiful sound! In the midst of those moments, as an exhausted parent, it’s easy to miss the dependence, the sweet vulnerability of the cries for comfort. What could be more naturally beautiful than this connection that is formed the first few months of life? I just don’t know.
We let mom and baby get comfy and calm, fed and snuggled. Then I photographed each sweet moment that followed. The result is a cozy and timeless look back on what life was like with her tiny baby in her first months of life. I love the warm sunshine coming into their home, the quiet moments they shared, and how sweetly Mama studied the details of her baby girl.
